Activision's love for plastic peripherals shows no bounds if a recent GameStop listing is correct, detailing a controller to accompany the forthcoming Wii shooter Goldeneye 007.
There are no clues as to what the device would be – though if we had our way it'd be a gleaming golden gun – but the price point of $69.99 suggests it'll be either a substantial bit of kit or bundled with the game. Destructoid does have some leaked concepts, one a Klobb-style case for the remote and nunchuck and the other a gold plated classic controller. Classy.
The controller has been put down for a release at the end of October, chiming in with the Q4 window that the game is shooting for.
Goldeneye 007 is an attempt to recapture the spirit of Rare's revered N64 original – and impressions from E3 suggest it's doing an admirable job of doing so.
