GameStop Offering $100 For Xbox 360 Trade-Ins

If you’ve been eyeing the newly released Xbox 360 slim, but can’t bring yourself to throw down the $299.99 for one, then GameStop has a deal for you. The gaming retailer is currently offering $100 for 360 trade-ins...as long as that cash goes towards a new 360 slim of course.

GameStop is also offering trade-in deals for everything from 360 hard-drives to memory cards and controllers. $50 for a 250GB HDD, $18 for a 512MB memory card, and $25 for a wireless controller are just a few of the current deals. So if you're looking to upgrade and save a bit of cash, you have until July 18.

But, how will you transfer your game saves, and other data if you already traded in your 360. This deal is not very good. $100 for buying back a 360 seems like a rip off to the consumer who paid 299.99 for their original 360. Plus, there are not a ton of extra features in the slim just built-in wi-fi and a smaller case to make it worth the 299.99.
