It's a new month! It's E3 2014 month at last!!!!!!!! And new updates on the GF forums.
As always, the member of the month goes to new member Lienx for her many many great posts on the forum. Congrats
So first off, some mixed news on the Community Staff position. GF member Mikaya was the first to take up this position but sadly she soon backed out. Next GF member GamesToEnjoy has requested the job and earn the spot and I'm currently seeing how he does it. If I'm pleased with the results a formal announcement will be made at the end of the month. If you like the spot feel free to sign up for the staff spot.
Next up, I like to apologize for the downtime last Saturday due to DNS issues. I will not be using the cloudflare service any further and highly recommend no one use them as their service does not seem stable and the support was far too slow.
I've made some changes to the forum in some board names and moving somethings around as well as changing some board descriptions. The advertisement board hasn't seen much activity but the internet subboard 'control panel' has seem some nice activity. I will continue to watch the activity and make the needed adjustments.
So enough with the technical stuff, time for the main event! The one thing gamers look forward to all year long, and our major holiday, it's E3 time GF gamers! The one time of the year that GF really shines and this year looks to be big as any other, so big I've taken the precaution of increasing our web hosting limits to ensure we have plenty of bandwidth.
As always, the gaming world boards will all be placed into the general gaming board (Gamers hub) and the E3 boards will come out to take their place from June 8th to June 13th where they will be then condensed into one board for the weekend and then the topics will be sorted into the right gaming news boards.
On Monday of this week I will be making a special topic which will hold a GF custom E3 advertisement banner that I hope you will all use to spread the word of GF's E3 event. I hope you will all use this to bring further traffic and members to the site.
Lets hope for a great E3.

We currently have 127,143 Posts and 1,140 members. In the last month we gain 1,540 posts. Due to the fact that we pruned the member account of all zero post members, I will be unable to calculate the amount of members we gained. But I know there will be a great increase in members and posts for the month of June.
Last June we gain 3,910 posts and 157 members. I truly hope we can beat that number this year. So give it your all GF members!
