It's a new month! It's GF birthday this month! and new updates to the GF forum.
First off, I like to cover our hosting issue we are currently having. We have successfully move to another hosting and are currently getting everything adjusted so GF loads flawlessly. I know that there is loading issues when sending a PM and sometimes making a reply/topic. If you ever run into this please take a tracert (Done by going into the CMD window, type: tracert gamingforce.us then right click to select all and copy) and either post that here, in the linked topic above or PM me the results. Things like this do take a bit of time so please be patient. If it's not resolved by months end we will go somewhere else.
As with all updates, Nuke has been chosen as member of the month! For his active posting here on the GF forums. Congrats Nuke.
For the next update, I'm please to announced that the store points and arcade are finally connected! For every game you play you gain a chance of winning a large jackpot! Just know it does now cost 4 shards to play a game but all new members start off with 50 shards plus whatever they get from posting on the forum so this should be no issue. I will post a topic this weekend which fully explains all the different point set ups. Also any new games installed will have a message posted on the shoutbox alerting all members to it's upload.
This up coming week GF turns 6 years old on the 8th! I have some updates in mind as well as a contest with a special item which it's value is over 100 dollars. Look forward to that.
Speaking of contests, I have an announcement regarding the monthly contests. Due to the low activity they have received, I will only be giving out the following prizes for them from now on:
1st place: $25 and 25,000 shards.
2nd place: $15 and 10,000 shards
3rd place: 1,000 shards.
If the contests get a huge turn out, I'll bump up the cash value for 1st and 2nd by $10. Some contests prizes give outs may be altered but this is going to be the general layout. The cash prizes will be awarded with paypal or through some online gaming network like steam, PSN, ect.
That's all for this update, when you spread the word of GF around make sure you tell them we've been going for SIX years! That should interest some looking for a forum to be active at for a long while.
Since the last update, GF currently has 108,671 posts and has made 2,226 posts since last update and our current member count is 1,620 and we've gain 32 members since last update.
