It's a new month! Ignore those school books and play games! And new updates on the GF boards.
Apologizes for the delay in this, first off I like to welcome a new vice-admin to the team Trilient! He won't be active for a few weeks yet till he sorts some family issues. Once he gets going he shall be a welcome addition to the GF staff.
For member of the month, congrats to Black Angel for her detail debate posts and cell phone knowledge. Congrats BA
After many months, if not a year now, I've changed the default GF skin to Revolt from GF darkness. If you were happen to be affected by this change, you can change the theme anytime you want in the lower left hand corner.
I've also made a number of small changes to the forum based on the review given on us. Somethings like boards being moved, name clean up/improvement and topic clean up.
This past month we've also moved hosts yet again! There been a few bumps in that road but I think all is good right now, if you are experiencing any issues please let me know right away in the help board or shoot me a PM. Public posting is better though so more members can relate to the issue.
Don't forget, GF is looking for affiliates. If you want to affiliate with us or know of a site we should be affiliated with let me know with a PM.
Don't forget about the two GF contests. The Xenoblade one starts when 30 members sign up and the GTA V contest starts at midnight of it's release day. Spread the word on these if you can.
TGS (Tokyo game show) 2013 will be happening pretty soon, GF will bring you all the news there is with our TGS section.
I'm looking for input and suggestions on how to improve our emoticon here on the forum. Please be sure to let us know how you like that improved.
That's all for this update, as GF enters it's 7th year of being online and active I once again thank each and everyone of our faithful members. Upon GF's 7th birthday it's my hope and goal to get the member activity here to amount of 50 daily active members. Help me make that dream a realty.
Since the last update, GF currently has 113,413 posts and has made 4,742 posts since last update and our current member count is 1,680 and we've gain 60 members since last update.
