Gelaskins

Gelaskins have just brought out skins for the 3DS, so I am wondering if anyone is going to be ordering a skin for their 3DS, or if you have previously skinned another device with Gelaskins.

I can't wait for it to arrive.
I have also skinned my phone with a Gelaskin, and I love it. I love how they give you a wallpaper to match the skin of the phone.

I cant figure out if they deliver internationally, do they? skins look nice, i mostly would liek one as scratch protection, instead of those rubber and metal cases . Also, do you know if it is easy to take them off with out leaving traces ?

Actually when I got my phone skin, I got sent 4 other people's skins too, because someone internationally had bundled all the Australian addresses together. I put them back in the post and Gelaskins gave me a gift voucher for my honesty when I emailed them about it

I haven't actually removed any skins yet, but they cover everything in the FAQ. I'm pretty sure they don't leave any trace. They're made of an interesting plastic that moulds around curves and bends nicely. Just rub the sticker down for a little while and it stays like that. Also if you start sticking it on and have it lined up wrong, you can pull it off and start again.

It's a much slimmer way of protecting your devices. I got sick of putting cases on my phone and how bulky it was, so I gave these a try. I'm gonna stick with them (pun!) from now on.

Sweet! I'll definitely bookmark that page then. I also dont want some ugly bulky thing around my 3ds that doesn't allow it to fit in the cradle. (I do use covers with my phone, but that is because its also my drop protection, My android is my second baby after all. My 3ds' older brother.)
Is that UR Android Desire???? Cuz i got the same beautiful piece of tech!!
And nice to hear you're an honest person... that's great a trait to have! You definitely deserved that voucher for that!!

Yeah they're handy like that, not adding any bulk.
Haha yeah, unfortunately they don't really offer drop protection, but I'm pretty good with my phone, I don't seem to drop it much... Touch wood. Also Android ftw, I am having a love affair with Google.

Thanks! I couldn't help but think how devastated I would be if my skin didn't turn up. I'm lucky they all came to me, if they'd gone to someone else maybe they wouldn't have been as honest.

I know what you mean... If they keep going like this.. Android will be the next windows of handhelds!, it already almost is in my eyes. but then my view is bias, since im in love with them as well... GingerBread this Summer WHOOO!

Yeah pretty much, they've already become the most used phone OS with 33% of the market last I checked. And that's not just smart phones - that's all phones. Nokia is pissed that Google has ousted them from their number one position, and are ditching Symbian as a result and making Windows Mobile phones in future.
It's genius, really. Make a smartphone OS that will run on a $100AUD handset, and you have an instant winner. Even Apple is scared now and are having to make a cheaper version of the iPhone to compete.
