Wow, robots sure are getting very advance these days.
 
I think it's just a simple program set up with the right actions programed into the robot.
 
I think there is a program in the robots computer which can use the sensor to sense how firm it is holding the plug to avoid squeezing too hard where it crushes the USB plug it is holding, or too lightly where the plug falls out or slip out of its fingers.
