The official live stream for update 2.3 has revealed the content players will face in the following update including two new playable characters - Itto and Gorou.

Genshin Impact 2.3 will be the first update to introduce a double banner re-run, which means that players will have the chance to opt for two banners at the same time. This is miHoYo's way of compensating for the absence of a brand new five-star character in a certain banner cycle. The double banner will arrive in the first cycle and it will feature Eula and Albedo. Since his release in update 1.2, Albedo has been one of the strongest support characters in Genshin Impact.

The second part of the banner will include two new characters, the Geo Vision holders Itto and Gorou. Albedo, Gorou, and Itto could make a strong party with Itto as the main DPS and the other two would fill the support roles.

I'm still waiting for the Switch version. I played a bit on the PS4, but constant giant updates and bad internet prevented me from playing after playing it for like two days. At least on Switch it's always connected to the internet and is always at least plugged in. I remember it being pretty fun. I didn't even get to the gacha system yet.

Ignoring the Gacha, it is a fun game.
Yeah I played it a bit, but it's basically a mobile game on PC. The combat and graphics style are nice, I don't remember much about the story but it was kind of generic Anime RPG stuff. The gacha element is the soul of the game though, everything you buy in the game is a loot box with a small chance of getting the thing you want. I don't like that, mainly because I played it for a month, put a few hundred dollars into it and didn't get the character I was trying to get anyways.

I have friends who play who've spent thousands trying to get certain characters. It's predatory.
