Friend wanted me to joined up so I spent some time on it today, it's pretty good. A bit rough and not refined as Breath of the wild was, but this isn't bad of a game. Anyone here playing it?

Genshin got some nice PLOT but free to play and gacha game is not my thing.
I'll just continue to post spoilers on Cold Steel IV lol

I don't think I'll hold out long, I rather not get too deep into another breath of the wild type game and the second they start demanding money to make things fun/faster I'm out.

I started it and am enjoying it, but there's so many other games that I'm playing that I can't focus on this right now. However...
I love her. My friend showed me a video and I just knew she'd be my favorite and the fact you just get her is awesome.

Its like breath of the wild, one moment you're going to the quest marker and ten hours later and are the furthest from it possible just battling random foes.
Yeah kind of but I'm not that long kek
Just play it for the story/exploration, don't worry about getting the best characters or keeping up with hardcore players. I've finished the current storyline, and am waiting for the next expansion to drop with a whole new area and storyline. I definitely have invested close to 400hrs in this, and regret none of it.

Oh I have no doubt, but this game is the villain of backlogs everywhere.
Its actually the only game I've been sticking to lately. I am starting to get bored since there's no interesting new content though. The big expansion is only dropping late December.

Got to the very top of the world tonight in that floating shrine. Very beautiful game but easy to get bored of with all the same enemies walking about.

There was recently and update to the game and now for some reason you have to redownload the entire game. Which for my crappy internet will take another 3 days and that's totally not worth it every time there's an update.

I did see it was a large update, but I didn't realize it was redownloading the entire thing. Gahh, what bad update is that?
Just new character banners, new quests (they finished the storyline of the 2nd area and added side quests), a reputation system for each region with rewards, and a bunch of quality of life stuff.

I was more meaning that you have to redownload the entire game instead of the patch update that just puts all that in there.
OH derp. Yeah my download was a full 12gb. While I'm used to MMOs doing that, it would be pretty bad for people with a low download speed or without unlimited internet plans.
