It's a new month, this update was delayed by pretty exploding lights! And new things at the Gamingforce forums.
Welcome to another GF update, and boy was June jumping. We had record activity and E3 brought lots of juicy news. I hope everyone saw something that made you wan to spend, spend and spend! Sorry for delay in this monthly update, busy weekend and crappy internet can delay anything.
First off, I like to remind everyone we got a big contest going: click here for details.
I would like to point all of you towards our new side hook, the facebook like box for our new GF facebook page (which I just recently learn how to make). So open up the side hooks if you got them close and give us a like! I'll be getting the FB page up to snuff soon. If you like to help drop me a PM.
Didn't think we get this one back, but when we came here from jcink.com hosting we lost two nice features, being able to add videos and music to your profile. I am proud to announce you can add at this time one video to your profile page, you can check out my profile to an example. You can add a video by going to 'My settings>click on profile tab>click on profile video on the side tabs. Hopefully soon I can restore the music part as well and keep in mind you can only add one video at this time.
Since our RSS board is, well, inactive in people replying. I will most likely be removing this for awhile until I can figure out something better or get more unique feeds put in.
I've allowed all members to change your profile background, (see mine as example) by either changing the color or using a image from an off site hosting. If you like to upload an image, you will have to buy the privilege from the store. You can change your profile background by going to 'My settings>click on profile tab>click on Profile Customization on the side tab bar.
As you all know, IPB is almost ready to release IPB 3.2.0, know that here at GF we want to bring you the latest forum software and mods, but due to upgrading IPB can cause all of our mods and skins to be broken, we will most likely not upgrade the forum till next year if we do.
So I believe that's about it for this update.
As mention here, I don't got that much time to work outside of the GF forums. So please look at the topic and see if you be willing to help expand gamingforce beyond this forum.
Before I end this update, I am seeking people who will write GOOD video game reviews/previews. Depending on how well you write them, I may pay you. But at the most, I can promise you excellent exposure on our new website. And trust me, the website will gain you quick exposure.
And currently we have a total of 67,789 posts and 837 members. In this past month we made a total of 3,717 posts and got 51 new members! Very good for the month of E3!
