Crunchyroll, in collaboration with Aniplex, Sony Music, and PlayStation Productions, has unveiled plans for an anime adaptation of the award-winning game and its Legends cooperative multiplayer mode. The series is set to debut exclusively on Crunchyroll in 2027, promising a blend of intense samurai action and the mystical allure of Japanese folklore.
The anime will be directed by Takanobu Mizuno, with story composition by Gen Urobuchi (NITRO PLUS). Animation will be handled by KAMIKAZE DOUGA, the studio behind visually striking projects like Batman Ninja. Complementing the visuals, Sony Music will provide a captivating soundtrack to enrich the experience.
