No I think it can be a very bad decision to use your social networking links on Youtube videos, other websites, etc for people to find your buisness or contact you for further question about your work unless you also provide a link to your actual website like example.com on your social video, or postings on other sites.
Plus, some hater can make a fake twitter account with a very similar username with one misspelling to try to ruin your reputation. Domain names are harder to fake since they cost money, and building a website with Joomla, Drupal or Wordpress requires more technical skills then making a Twitter or Facebook account.
The reason is because Twitter and Facebook might become a expensive paid service in a few years, I might want to delete my account, or becomes forgotten like Myspace since almost no one I knows uses it anymore, and your tons of promotional videos will be useless since they lead to a website which is not on Twitter anymore.
A better thing to do is just register a domain name like example.com for 8-10USD a year and have the domain name redirect to your Twitter accont or use the domain name and connect it to your Joomla, Drupal, or Worpress CMS web hosting account.
I think using Twitter, Blogspot, and other free services to promote your company with social video might hurt your company or websites reputation or people will see you as less proffessional compared to someone who added their website link like example.com to their videos intro and outro and video description.
I mainly use Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube as a way to draw people to my actual website at http://mxproject.com ,etc , but I will never use my website or promotional videos to draw people to my social accounts since I want people to spend more time on my website instead of my social pages.
