Google Allows Dark Mode

For anyone searching google, at the top google now offers to darken google and allow you to view all search results with a dark mode, to make it easier on the eyes.

Anyone try it?

I don't really use the dark mode but lately I have been using my phone a lot thanks to my night shift stuff and this could help me a lot from here on in ^^

I think dark modes are usually ugly, and I'm not a weakling with white backgrounds.

It is nice that Google now has a dark mode for people who prefer a darker theme for Google.

I can't see it for some reason and I'm on the latest version of Chrome.

I see a link for Darkmode on the settings link menu on the Homepage of Google.com when I use the latest version of Google Chrome.

Yeah in settings > Themes you might need to check there too.

Depends on your Google account aparantely. It's being slowly rolled out to everyone and mine doesn't seem to have it as yet

must be a reigon thing, because seems like people in the states can use it.

I didn't know that they offered this. I prefer the lighter settings myself. I know others would appreciate this option though!

I finally got it. Even as a dark mode user, it just felt weird after getting used to the light mode for search results so I reverted back right away

I'm not, loving it and saving my eyes.

I prefer the light mode because I find dark mode makes my glossy/shiny monitor has more reflections from lights in my room when I use it in my room with brighter room lights.

While I don't use Google all that often, it is a nice option to have for people. I honestly prefer the Light mode on sites & forums I frequent. The Dark tends to hurt my eyes. I'm actually amazed at those who use Dark to HELP their eyestrain! From what others have said, I have all the lights on when I'm on the computer, same with watching TV. Maybe that is why the Dark doesn't do so well with me.
