Google buys Motorola Mobility - Google today bought Motorola to strengthen its Android business. Will this hurt or help Google's Android?

Wow, I wonder what this means for HTC, Samsung, and other Google Android phone makers. Good move by Google. I wonder if Google will buy a computer brand like Acer, HP, or Asus next to also control its PC hardware for Chrome OS and Google Tablets.
