I think Chromebooks dominating the top seller list in the laptop proves that people like buying affordable laptops which are also reliable, easy to use, and have good battery life. It is also impressive that the Amazon Fire TV stick outsold the Chromecast.
I wonder if the success of the Chromebooks will make Google design a faster Chromebook desktop which are fast enough to play PC Games on high quality video settings.
Installing Chrome OS onto a game console device could be a good idea instead of just installing Chrome OS on laptops and mini desktops since there are a lot of people who like playing games on a big TV with a controller or keyboard and mouse.
I also bet Amazon will come out with a Amazon Kindle Fire Laptop which is designed for keyboard, and mouse/touchpad to compete with the Chromebooks like how Amazon release a tablet, phone, game console, and voice activated speakers to compete with Google, Apple, and Microsoft.
