Google vowed that Android users would finally get official screen mirroring on Chromecast through an update, and it's making good on that promise by rolling out the Chromecast 1.7 app today. Grab the new release and supporting devices (primarily from HTC, LG and Samsung) can send just about anything to a TV just by hitting a "cast screen" button.

This new feature for Google Chromecast, and Android looks good for using Android like a desktop computer, or as a mini Android game console to play games like Angry Birds, Asphalt 8 with a controller or touchscreen.
 
I think the Chromecast also works on iPhone when using some Apps like Netflix, YouTube, etc. I think the Chromecast is a good cheap alternative to Apple TV  since the Chromecast cost only $35.
 
This just proves people want bigger screens, specially if you're old.
 
I agree people want bigger screens, and possibly also use a mouse and keyboard by connecting them to Chromecast or their android device espiecally if they don't like touchscreens because they are not as good as keyboard and mouse for browsing desktop websites, and using apps like word processors, spreadsheets, and database programs.
