Google vowed that Android users would finally get official screen mirroring on Chromecast through an update, and it's making good on that promise by rolling out the Chromecast 1.7 app today. This new feature for Google Chromecast, and Android looks good for using Android like a desktop computer, or as a mini Android game console to play games like Angry Birds, Asphalt 8 with a controller or touchscreen.

I think the Chromecast also works on iPhone when using some Apps like Netflix, YouTube, etc. I think the Chromecast is a good cheap alternative to Apple TV  since the Chromecast cost only $35.

I agree people want bigger screens, and possibly also use a mouse and keyboard by connecting them to Chromecast or their android device espiecally if they don't like touchscreens because they are not as good as keyboard and mouse for browsing desktop websites, and using apps like word processors, spreadsheets, and database programs.
