The National Legal and Policy Center is complaining about Google Video to Congress, alleging that the video service is hosting over 300 illegal copyrighted films, including such humdingers as Knocked Up, Ocean's Thirteen, and Shrek The Third. The NLPC is not happy about this, and is calling on Congress to help regulate the amount of illegal material the large corporation has on the site.
However, after a cursory search of Google Video, it turns out that all that is available online are clips and trailers of the films, and not the whole of the films. It seems that, once again, people got all up in arms about something they did little research on and didn't understand. Good watching out, watchdogs!
