Google+ Open to Everyone

Google's social site is now open to everyone who has a gmail account. An API for Hangouts has also been added, so developers now have the ability to access the service for use in their apps.

A new update for the Android Google+ app is available in the Android Market starting today.

I have had one since the private testing. I am glad it is now a open beta, I can now leave facebook and tell my friends to join plus.

I joined, but I still prefer Facebook because of the groups, fan pages, and discussions on groups and fan pages.

I agree it looks kind of basic, and not as feature rich as Facebook.

Yes, I agree, it is probably be more feature rich over time. I heard G+ got Cityville which is one of those Facebokk Flash MMO games.

Yes, I wonder if it is possible to move your Cityville user account on Facebook to Google Plus, or be able to use the same Cityville account on Facebook and Google Plus. Starting with a new user account on Google Plus would be kind of time consuming.
