Got a new Xbox 360

Well I got everything set up on it only I want to add those of you here to my xbox friends provided you can walk me through on how to do so id be happy to add you

From the dashboard (start screen) hit the guide button on your controller (the X logo in the middle). Press down once to highlight 'friends'. Press the green "A-button" and imput the user's gamertag to whom you wish to add. That's all there is too it.  Just note that you can only play games online with friends if you have an active gold membership. The same goes with party chat. You CAN, however, do one-on-one "Private Chat" with silver member status. The great thing is, unlike Sony, both do not dump you out of your game when you use them and are perfectly clear unlike game chat on both consoles.
