Tonight I suddenly heard screams all around the world as the very popular and billion dollar game series finally comes to current gen consoles (PS4, Xbox one) and yes at long last, PC.

PC modders get ready, you have lots of work ahead of you.
 
I'm actually pretty shocked that it's not already on the PS4, like the new Fifa world cup 2014 game which skipped PS4 too. Does this mean I should wait before buying a Playstation 4? As for the GTA V PC modding scene, looks like a big opportunity for everyone!
 
I am a huge fan of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, I'm excited that Grand Theft Auto 5 is coming to PC. Grand Theft Auto will take full advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC with across the board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail. All new content and gameplay created since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online. GTA 5 for PC will also feature a video editor designed for advanced movie-making. Once I get it for PC I will be playing it all the time, I know the game will deliver.

I'm sure they over hauled a lot of stuff to make it work with PS4 standards.
 
Not that excited but relieved to hear it's confirmed.  I bought it on PS3, first time using it, and didn't have a great experience as someone who's use to PC performance.  The world is amazing though and it will be niced to enjoy it in it's full detail.

Felt the same, I might not even buy it on PC because I already finished the campaign and got bored of the online experience but hopefully mods can change that and make everything so much better. I still remember how much CLEO changed GTA San Andreas when it was out on PC :P
 
FREAKING FINALLY ROCKSTAR.

I've been itching to play this since release but my religion prohibits me from playing a GTA in any other platform than pc.

Let's see if i can get my new gpu to good use =D
 
That's great news that it's coming to PC, but even better news that it's coming over to next-gen hardware. Nothing like revisiting great games like this in a better suit. :)
 
I noticed how much better this version looks compared to PS3/XBox 360 versions. Hopefully this will be one of the better Rockstar's PC ports (like Max Payne 3) rather than the likes of L.A. Noire and GTA IV, which were low effort ports with lots of bugs and performance issues.

I'm extremely hyped, but won't pre-order it just yet, knowing what happened with Watch Dogs.
 
This is great news considering PC gamers and next-gen console gamers were eager to see  Grand Theft Auto 5 come to a better running platform. Personally I am very excited to see Grand Theft Auto come to the PC since I plan to build one at the end of the month. Hopefully Rockstar will be able to not only make a succesful transfer to the next-gen platforms, but also increase the quality of the game.
 
I cant wait, this will be the next game in the series, that is actually good, since SA, or VC. I honestly cant wait for it
