Grandia II, the Japanese role-playing from Game Arts that first released for Dreamcast back in 2000, is coming to PC by way of Steam, GungHo Online Entertainment has announced.

Just a few weeks ago, GungHo released a survey to gauge the interest of fans in PC ports of classic JRPGs from Game Arts' large portfolio of old school software. The results are now in, and it appears the community really wanted to see Grandia II be the first to receive such treatment.

The upcoming remaster will not only boast improved high-definition visuals, it'll also feature both mouse/keyboard and support, as well as Steam Trading Cards and achievements.

"With the rise of digital downloads, it is especially important that classic games continue to remain available to play in some form," GungHo America president Jun Iwasaki told GameSpot. "Grandia II was chosen for a PC re-release because it represents both a hallmark of the Grandia series and an example of how great JRPGs can be."

Not sure about the 2nd one, but I played the 1st one last year and it was amazing.

I enjoyed the battle system which was pretty well set up, the characters were great with a good story and I enjoyed what I was doing through out most of the game.

Not sure if I will try out the 2nd one since many say its not as good as the first.
