You may already know, and it might be already mentioned in another thread; I don't know. However, for those who didn't know, here it goes:

- For 3DS systems purchased until April 16th 2012, you get a $20 mail-in rebate from Nintendo. Go to the Canadian website of Nintendo.com to see the flyer and read the conditions to see if the system you want to buy is eligible.

- In Walmart (at least in Canada), the 3DS is $149 for a limited time.

- In Toys R Us (Canada at least), for each DS or 3DS game purchase that costs $24.99 or more, you get a second one 40% off.

So there you go: Buy your 3DS at Walmart (keep the receipt!), apply for the mail-in rebate from Nintendo (you'll have saved $40 by then), and go to Toys R Us and spend all your lifetime savings in games. =)
 
Well, if you delete your cookies you'll see that the first time you go to nintendo.com it will ask you in which country you are. That will be saved in your computer and you will be taken to your country's site in future times. However, the address in the browser will still be showing as nintendo.com, even if you are in the Canadian site.
