Wow can be addicting i admit. I never got into it though since i would probably be spending a lot every month if i was addicted.
 
From what I hear, Rift is kicking ass. They're getting as many new subscriptions as WoW is losing monthly.
 
I remember The Sims for being the most sold game ever.. Oh wait it's like 11 years old. But still pretty good. :grin:
 
I don't really see the argument for WoW being shit as valid? Considering it owns about 60% of the MMO marketplace, clearly shows a lot of people find it good even when you take out all the addicts and farming accounts. On top of that, Blizzard provides masses of support to the game and releases tons of new content for it on a monthly basis. It is ever expanding and while a lot of the older content is better I can still admit it is a very good game. I just stopped playing it as I couldn't dedicate enough time to justify my subscription costs. You can;t really call it shit though. You can dislike it but it is generally considered the best MMO out there, hence why it is doing so well and hence why its expansion is the fastest selling PC game of all time
