McDonald's has tapped a "beloved" Christmas character for a new, limited-edition meal that people are clamoring for.

McDonald's launched The Grinch Meal on Tuesday, Dec. 2. The holiday meal, which is available at participating restaurants nationwide, features Dill Pickle "Grinch Salt" McShaker Fries, a new menu item. The classic McDonald's fries are served with dill pickle seasoning on the side. Customers may then toss the fries and seasoning together in a McShaker bag to create their own tangy potatoes.

The Grinch Meal was first introduced in Canada in 2024. Due to the meal's success, it was a "no-brainer" to bring it to the U.S., Alyssa Buetikofer, chief marketing and customer experience officer of McDonald's USA, said in a statement.

"THiS iS MY MEAL AND i DiDN’T PARTNER WiTH McDONALD’S OUT OF THE GOODNESS OF MY HEART,” the Grinch wrote in a handwritten note on crumpled paper from Mt. Crumpit, according to a McDonald's news release.

The meal has been so popular, there have been numerous reports of McDonald's locations selling out of the meal.

I need to get one of these meals! Sure I'm happy to try the food but I think I'm most happy about the socks it comes with haha.

The Grinch is actually encouraging Christmas to come.

I never got a chance to get this meal... I wanted the socks lol. Though I am glad I missed out on the food, pickle salt sounds disgusting since pickles are nasty.
