GTA 5 beta Scam

If you've been invited to a GTA 5 beta, it's probably best to ignore it.

With a statement on its website, developer Rockstar Games made it abundantly clear that no pre-release Beta test is scheduled for Grand Theft Auto V.

    "Please note: There is no pre-release 'Beta' test for Grand Theft Auto V. If you see ads or solicitations to join a beta program, beware as this is likely some type of online phishing scam."
Rockstar clarified that though it released this warning last year for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, it still holds true for the upcoming PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions.

The new-gen console versions arrive on November 18, but we'll have to wait until January 27, 2015 for the PC version.
