The game allows players to live the majesty and triumph of Aerosmith from their days as a garage band up until they ascend the rock throne and rule rock with an iron fist. It comes out in June for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii.
Plus, Guitar Hero 3 owners will get a present: Dream On will be available for free download for free between February 16-18 for both the PS3 and the 360. Sorry, Wii.
“Having a game built around Aerosmith has been a huge honor and really a great experience for us,†says Joe Perry. “We’ve put a lot of ideas into the game so that fans can have fun interacting with our music, getting inside our body of work and learning about the band’s history.â€
No track list has been announced as yet, but we bet you'll be playing every well-known Aerosmith tune and a lot of unknown rockers. Whether partying with groupies and scarf wrapping mini-games will be included has not been confirmed.
Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions will be developed by Neversoft, with Vicarious Visions behind the Wii edition and Budcat handling the PlayStation 2 iteration.
