.hack seires, a anime/video game series is set in the future where technology has advanced much. In this trailer for the new moved, .hack// the movie. It shows students taking tests on a tablet in front of them and no doubt able to read books and stuff on it as well. And shows being able to play a game by just slipping on a pair of glasses.
I feel everything shown will become reality one day.
Indeed, I think this is the near future like in .hack.
But, I feel Androids and Cyborgs are the far future. Androids and Cyborgs are humans mixed with robots like in Dragon BallZ Android Episodes where the Android has a computer, and robotic parts built-in to them, so they can have the power of machines and the smarts of computers at all times.
As people are advance enough to create mutants, and mutated humans like X-men will be the future, and tech won't be needed as much because with mutant powers people can just shoot water, fire, and ice out of their hands and eyes, and communicate using brain waves with telepathy. Some mutants can also fly like Storm, or Magneto, so planes won't be needed for them because they can fly.
Indeed, there are robotic hands and feet for humans, but they are not as good or better then the real thing, and don't give you DragonballZ Android strength.
