Microsoft announced Halo: Reach at its E3 2009 Media Briefing. Bungie's Joe Staten introduced a brief teaser trailer on stage which showed a view from space of the planet Reach being destroyed, followed by the reveal of the game's title logo. The game will be released in 2010 and Staten announced that players who buy Halo 3: ODST will get access to the Halo: Reach Beta.
