It is officially August 8th GF gamers and you know what that means, Gamingforce has officially turned 7 years old! Yes that’s right, 7 years ago to this day I took over the GF forums from another person which back then GF was currently on proboards/ipbfree and I alone have brought it to where this forum is today and of course some of our long time members have ensured it stay active with topics and posts.
So just let me say thank you, thank you each and every member of Gamingforce for joining my forum and viewing and posting on it daily. Though the forum is not where I would like it to be in terms of activity we are still a strong and well supported community and I will be working harder than ever to further our community. Now that the thank yous are out of the way, it’s time to ring in GF’s seventh year with a three day contest. Winners will get:
1st place: 50 dollar credit in the form of a PSN/eshop/Xbox live/steam/amazon card.
2nd place: 25 dollar credit in the form of a PSN/eshop/Xbox live/steam/amazon card.
3rd place: 10 dollar credit in the form of a PSN/eshop/Xbox live/steam/amazon card.
4th place: 100,000 GF shards
5th place: 25,000 GF shards
You will complete the mini contests below to rack up points.

Day One (August 8th):
Scavenger Hunt:
This is pretty simple, find the oldest physical (not digital) video game you own in your home and take a picture of it along with a sign somewhere in the picture containing your forum name along with the word GF7 and PM me the pic. So older the game the higher chance of winning and if lets say two people submit NES games then the game release date would determine the winner.
Winner gets 10 points
2nd gets 7 points
3rd gets 4 points.
AND! if you submit a picture of a limited edition/special game (like a grey case legend of zelda from NES) you will get 20 points regardless if you win or lose but you can only submit one picture.
All pics must be submitted to me by 11:59PM CST USA.
Bonus! Submit a picture (Following the guidelines above) of my favorite game by 8/10/14 11:59PM CST USA for 10 instant points. I have a few different games I like that you can get points on but and if you take a picture of all the parts of my most favorite game in one pic it's 30 points.
Essay:
Submit a small essay to Demon_skeith via PM describing why you love GF and how you want to see it progress for another 7 years.
Winning Essay gets 5 points.
2nd place gets 3 points
3rd place gets 1 point
All entries must be submitted to me by 11:59PM CST USA.
Topic Posting Contest
Another simple mini contest, make the most quality topics here on GF and link to them all below in one post. All topics must contain at least three full lines of text and the topic should be of something discussion worthy.
