Harry potter anime?

Anyone here ever find it strange that a anime was never done on the harry potter series despite it's popularity? Would you like to see one done and have a somewhat different story than the book/movie series? I'm not alone in this want and someone made a pretty damn epic fan pic of a possible anime look for Harry potter:

1. Harry potter is not intended to be an anime and it probably couldnt.


2. What else could they really do. Basing an anime off a movie dodsnt sound too good.


3. It would probably just be a rehash of the movies in anime form.


4. Personally I dont like Harry Potter, but thats just me.
 
1. I've seen enough magical animes to say you don't know what your talking about.

2. they could expand on a few things and give more detail to rushed things. I know the movies didn't fully cover the books 100%

What does it having to do with magical make a difference? I daid that specifically for Harry Potter not all magcal animes. And i dont see how visuals is enough of a reason to justify a whole anime being made out of it.
 
I actually wouldn't mind this xD But I guess it depends on what kind of direction they take it. The HP universe seems pretty massive so I'm sure they could come up with something, maybe some kind of sequel or prequel to the movies, focus in on a specific character, etc. 
 
If they ever made harry potter anime...I wouldn't watch it.
I am not a fan of harrypotter.
It used to be good but then everything went downhill as those kids started to grow up. I wouldn't want this to be made as an anime.
 
If they ever make one, its going to be the hottest anime that season. But I don't see it happening, Japanese don't usually adapt from western culture to my knowledge.

Tho they really like the concept of western and europe.
