Resume/gameplay: enter the Harry Potter world. Take control of the characters's wands, raise their stamina bar by eating some choco frogs and etc, solve puzzles and pass through dungeons and etc. This is a kinda rpg sort of thing. But not really well done. I can't really throw flowers at the producers for that game. I can't say this entertained me much. Was fun to be the characters, but still not worth a penny. You can't choose the character you want to boss around, you can only be Harry, and that's it. Like any rpgs, you can interact with others by talking to them or throwing spells at them, but not much more. I've played the gameboy version, not the DS one. I'd daresay it's pretty much the same.
Characters/Background/Music: As said in my other paragraph, you could only be Harry. That was a downside. I'd like to be Ron or Hermione for a change. I think it was pretty dull playing only one character. All the important characters from the novels are there, no worries, you'll find Malfoy and etc. Which I liked. You can't order them around. It was only when they talk to you, that you can communicate with them. That's it. The setting was pretty true to the story too. You could explore Hogwarts and etc. The background was pretty well done. Music too, picked from the HP films. So yeah, there was no surprises. Dungeons were also from the films, so that was quite well designed. I've only compliments to give them for this.
Items/Wands/Etc: I'd daresay they were very realistic as well. The choco frogs, witches's cards and etc, they were all pretty amazingly done. Again, you won't see much differences. So kudos to them on that point. The broomsticks were also well done. You could fly around with them too, so that was pretty fun. Got flying lessons, charms, potions. You could learn spells and you cast them. That was pretty cool.
In a nutshell: A fairly good game, not excellent. Just about average. rating: 6/10. Just passable really.
