I really want to add it to the site and the Youtube channel, but I can't find the song anywhere. Not on Youtube, not on any video game music sites, no game rips straight from the 'rom'/card...
You do realise that it's impossible to get the music right? "Ripping" music from the ROM in terms of data extraction is far from cracked, as far as I know.
Once that happens, expect a full Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 soundtrack.
Let's just hope it's streamed and not sequenced, since streamed audio files are easy to play. Sequenced audio is a lot harder.... that's why it's so easy to rip music from Wii and GameCube games that are streamed, such as Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart: Double Dash, and sequenced music such as Super Mario Sunshine is really hard. Even 10 years after the game's out, people still haven't found a way to simply play sequenced audio files like that. It wasn't until just last year, that someone was able to actually rip the Sunshine music using some hacking, and weird stuff.... and I've uploaded it here somewhere.
