Yes, Firefox latest versions seem to use a lot of RAM, and is less reliable, and I am also tired of always upgrading Firefox every few weeks which can be a hassle to do, so I now use Opera Web Browser as my main Web Browser, and I experience less crashes, and faster speeds then Firefox even when multiple Tabs and Windows are open in Opera.
I also like Opera Mini Mobile Web Browser which I use on my Kobo Vox eReader Tablet because Opera Mini is simple to use, and seems like the fastest mobile web browser for me.
I used to be a Firefox user through and through...but all the recent changes have driven me to start testing out Chrome and seeing if I prefer Google's system....
Rockmelt is a decent Web Browser. It is like Chrome with a social twist which let you keep up with friends on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. It is based on the Chromium Open Source Web Browser, but with a social networking twist.
FF Updates might not be tough, but new updates to FF sometimes make Plug-in/add-ons less reliable, and some Add-on makers might get annoyed by always having to update their add-ons to work with the latest versions, and users might get annoyed by FF updates breaking add-ons from working.
