Have you managed to get a game before the release date?

Not by official means, but by finding a shop willing to sell it early?

I have before. Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga wasn't even out in the UK when I found it in a toy shop. But I bought it anyway, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have ever made.

So have you bought a game early, or before the street date as they say?

When I was in Portugal for a holiday I got Pokemon Black 2 a few days before its release in a small toy shop in Fatima

We tried to buy some 3DS game (I think it was the second Theatrhythm game, but I honestly don't remember) at Target when they had their copies on display like a week early, but their system caught it before he could finish the sale and he wouldn't sell it to us. All the places around here that sell games are big brand name stores like Gamestop, Target, or Best Buy, so they're computer systems always alert if it's before the release date. I think our best bet would be to try Walmart and hope we get a cashier who doesn't care.

I tried to get Sonic Runners before the US release, but it just told me to update in the Google Play Store. And it was at the latest version, too.
