The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 normal would be out very soon. There are glowing reviews on how good that device can be. Have you been able to pre-order that device?
 
Nope. Until the older models no longer function, I see no need to get an upgraded phone. It still works lol.
 
This is the first year in about 5 or 6 that I have not pre-ordered the latest iPhone. I'm terrible for it. But I have the iPhone 15 pro max and after a year its still excellent so I'm going to skip a year or maybe two. I'll see what the next one is like. I don't think there is enough of an advancement between each model to make the upgrade worthwhile any longer.
 
I read something that said smartphones are almost becoming like cars, where you don't change for 4 or 5 years. The technology has improved significantly, despite the incremental improvements between iPhone models. I doubt there will be much different in performance between the iPhone 15 pro max and the 16 pro max. I doubt it will be noticeable at all; especially when you look at what most people use their phone for...

That’s why I’m still rocking the 13. Outside of phone stuff, I browse the internet, watch YouTube, and take pics. Nothing to get a new phone for.

I have the 13. It still does it's job lol. Until Apple start throttling it, I wont get an upgrade although apparently im eligible for one by my phone carrier lol.

Same here. They're being marketed as super-powerful for gamers but why would you use a phone as your main gaming machine when there are much more powerful (and cheaper!) options out there. Plus, the experience of playing a game on a big TV or widescreen monitor is far superior to playing on a screen which is 7" wide at best.

No upgrade for me. I've not even looked at the 16, that's how disinterested I am. Ha!

I think some people like having an all in one entertainment device, so they invest in that. You can hook iPhones up to a display or TV and use a Bluetooth controller, so for them it’s like, why not spend money on one device that does all?
 
Nope, I don't buy fruit :p
