Have your WhatsApp been hacked?

I usually believe that it's only Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok accounts that are usually been targeted by hackers until I started getting hack notification links/code to approve login as I have 2FA active on my WhatsApp.

I have not had such experience. I mean what will the person trying to hack my WhatsApp gain, if they succeed in doing so?

To carry out criminal activities with it..and scam your friends.

I have not shared any otp with anyone and I rarely join groups that will expose my WhatsApp to be hacked too.

I am always very careful. I doubt I can easily recover a hacked account when I lose one.

Honestly can not say that I have ever had any hacking attempt happen on my WhatsApp, at least not yet. I do know that there are hacking attempts happening a lot and so you do have to be cautious and alert.

Everyone got to be careful about such situations. It is not always that easy to recover an account that was hacked especially when the platform lack 2FA verification.

I did that on mine when I noticed that Whatsapp can be hacked too. I think it is right for Shortie to do same as well.

Yeah. If you're account have ever being hacked, you will take 2FA very seriously!

I had a minor issue with my Facebook password last 2 days and it was the 2FA that came to my rescue.

It's been a while since you started using it. Back then, Facebook was much fun than it is now.
