Found the nice article above that lists a bunch of HDMI switches for people who need to plug in tons of HDMI stuff, for TVs that truly lack something there should be a lot of.

I hope it helps out someone!

Sad how I recommend these to people who bitch about not having enough ports, and everyone is scared to buy one, like they require an engineering degree to use, or are expensive.

I just don't like the idea of having an extra box hanging around my TV just to plug more HDMI into, there really is no reason TVs can't come with more HDMI.

Thanks for the useful article.

To an extent I get that, but I still don’t see that as a good enough excuse to refuse to buy one, while still complaining about not having ports. It’s like a strange protest that doesn’t achieve anything. It’s kind of like whining about the sun being too bright, but refusing to wear sunglasses.

My GPU has two, but Display ports are far better for getting more than 60hz out of it since HDMI does 60hz. HDMI are old cables nowadays

be nice if TVs started to use display ports.

If I had to, I would without much complaint, unlike most people who complain about it.

Yeah but at the same time TV isn't made for gaming-related and end of the day HDMI is still perfect even at 4K Plus TV panels don't have 144hx refresh rate tech or more not like gaming screens. Then again why a TV will have 240hx refresh rate :P

I have a stereo amplifier hooked up to my TV that has 4 HDMI inputs. Going to my TV I only have 1 HDMI cable so that makes that part a little easy. Every HDMI device that I have runs through my stereo, and then I have a fancy Harmony remote that is programmed to my specific devices, so when I want to watch tv for example, it is literally one button and BAM! The system is on.

The one button push turns on the TV, Stereo, and the TV Receiver/PVR...could they make it any easier? Also, for those who are technologically inept (like my mother), the button is labelled "Watch TV" so I don't think it could be "dumbed down" anymore than that.
