Cross-platform is great but funny it's two indie dev studios making hit games on Steam in recent months. There's a lot of untapped creative potential for games we have yet to see.

Is it funny to you that indie studios do it and not some other studios? I guess indies used to work somewhere else and now they decided to develop their own products.

There's more creative freedom involved and some studios don't take the risk. Even big names release buggy messes at a deadline.
 
They’ve been averaging 240-260k players playing at any given moment and their servers haven’t been able to keep up. It’ll be interesting to see what other games Sony will be backing in a few months for PC.
