Apparently you throw dice blocks and the character who's face is on the top side of the dice combines their power to blast Bowser with magic. Then any left end up eaten by Bowser and shot at the players as fireballs.
The arena tilts at various points to make it harder, and eventually he throws his own Bowser dice which has pictures of all the bosses on it. Whatever one it lands on then appears and attacks the players.
King Boo sends Boos around the arena, Big Bob-omb causes bombs to rain from the sky and Chain Chomp just charges at everyone. That's a pretty neat idea if you ask me, Bowser's minions defending him in the final boss battle.
Plus, Bowser is giant again. Everyone saw that coming, right?
