HGST is now shipping the Ha10, the first 10 TB HDD to come to market. The Ha10 combines the benefits of HGST's helium architecture with SMR recording. HGST has gained considerable traction with its helium designs, which offer many advantages, such as reduced flutter, drag and power consumption. As a result, the Ha10 offers up to 20 percent lower operating costs per TB of storage, 25 percent more capacity than air-based HDDs, a 2 million hour MTBF rating and 4-5 C lower operating temperatures. One of the best aspects of the helium design is that it is complementary to forthcoming density-increasing technologies such as SMR and HAMR.

Wow, 10TB of space is a lot of space.

this will most likely be standard in a few years. Though how much does this cost now and do you think it can go into a PS4?

The price is not released. You would need an adapter to use it with the PS4 because this hard drive is a 3.5 inch hard drive which is used in desktop computers, and servers.
