Hideki Kamiya Hates the Bayonetta 2 Boxart

Apparently they changed the moon and the color of the 2 without asking him, making him pretty mad. Good luck getting a 3rd game from him Nintendo.

I actually share his sentiments. Not only does the new boxart look bad in comparison to the original one, but it's pretty disrespectful to change what his vision and not even inform him of it. With Kamiya being an artist and perfectionist himself, I understand why he's frustrated.

Agreed.

Why did they even bother changing it?

The first one clearly looks like the better of the two in my opinion, so why risk angering the guy who made the game?

Just do not get Nintendo Logic sometimes.

I would be mad too.  It's awful when people change things and just make it worse.  It's like they intentionally tried to insult and sabotoge the original art and had some grudge against the creator.  I hope it can still be changed back.

Nintendo is known for pulling crap like this which is why 3rd party support for them is tough because they act like bullies.
