Madness. Specially that power supply.

This does look like a great laptop for laptop buyers who plan on spending $5000 on a laptop, and don't want an Apple Macbook Pros and Alienware laptop which are overrated.

I like the power supply and laptop case for this MSI laptop since it looks like it is very durable, and is less likely to fall apart after using it regularly for a few years.

But, I feel for $5000, a Desktop Gaming PC with a Intel Core i9 would be better, and you can spend the money savings on a faster video card, larger SSD, or a huge library of PC games from Steam, GOG, and EA Origins.

why do you feel they are overrated?

I feel buyers are mostly paying for the brand, case design, and how cool it is to own. Some of the hardware like LCD display is 17.3 inches which seems small for such an expensive laptop. I feel it should come with a 2 TB SSD, or two 1TB SSD instead of 1TB SSD and 1TB hard drive.

honestly, most people just need a small ssd slaved to a HDD.
