Hogwarts Legacy is an action role-playing video game set in the Wizarding World during the 1800's. It was suppose to be release this year but they announced not to long ago that it won't be released until some time in 2022. The game will be released on the Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows.

Who here will be getting this game when it comes out? Why or why not?

@cm2 I'm sorry. I didn't know you had posted about this before. And you're right, I do want to play this game.


The only bad thing is I don't own any of those consoles. So I'm going to have to go out and buy one just to be able to play this. I think I'm probably going to go with either a PS4 or a PS5. I think I like Playstation's games better than Xbox's games (I'm talking about games that are exclusive to that console). I hope to get the 4 or the 5 by the time the game comes out so I'll be ready to play when it is released.

PS5 with its SSD would be better for a large game like this.
 
I've started leaning more towards the 5 anyway. I know there's probably not as many games out for it as there is the 4. But there should be more out by the time this game is released.
 
Now they are announcing that you'll be able to make a transgender character on the game.

I know J. K. Rowling is reportedly not had a hand in this game, however, I wonder if she'll make a comment on this.
 
I'm okay with picking your gender. This is the first time I've seen a game that included transgender.

I just figured J. K. Rowling would have something to say about that, even though she doesn't have a hand in working on the game. She's been in the media for making certain comments that some people have been unhappy with.

apparently becoming rich has made her ignorante. Or she know she is done making stuff and no longer cares.
 
It seems becoming rich makes a lot of people become ignorant. It's not just her but that's getting off topic.

I still want to play the game when it comes out. But I'll have to add another console to the collection.

maybe there will be some kind of special console edition for the game?
