I can imagine this being kind of scary if it was a lot bigger since watching a very realistic knife or axe being thrown toward you by the "Joker" in a holographic box, or TV might make the less tech-savvy people feel like a real knife is being thrown at you, but it is actually a hologram.
Ghost and horror films might be extra scary if the hologram ran toward you and took out a pitch fork, and wave it in front of you.
