Homemade dips & sauces

Do you make your own condiments? What do you enjoy making? Do you have a recipe you would like to share?
We’ve made hummus, guacamole, sweet & sour sauce, even ketchup & mayonnaise. I like when we make our own as we can adjust the recipe to fit our own tastes. i.e. the ketchup is less vinegary tasting than in the stores.

I do not make homemade dips because I buy condiments from a store.

I always remember my mum used to make her own dips and sauces when I was younger, it used to take a while but she had the time as my dad worked and she stayed at home with me and my brothers

Now as much as I would love to make my own, having the time between work would be the biggest issue for me.

I think that's the biggest issue- having the time. Of course you could get your kids involved to devise a new creation.

If anything at our house we use those dip mixes for crackers and chips that we get from craft shows. Most of the time we just buy said condiment or sauce instead and we never run out.
