How do you attract more members to your forum?

I do post exchanges, advertise on other forums, and tell people about my site.

Advertise like there's no tomorrow. And post exchanges, too.

I've been searching for big brawl forums lately, and just joining, posting around, and wearing my signature.

I found one forum, woith over 7 MILLION posts. it's crazy. And, while posting 3 days on there, I got 3 new memebrs, who ACTUALLY play brawl.

With great difficulty...basically advertise, advertise, advertise....and well advertise.

Well, 7 million posts is impressive, that doesn't really mean anything. As long as a forum has a nice niche, then the forum will be fine. I'm still finding a niche for my forum, but I think it is getting there.

I advertise like crazy but i find it hard to get members interested in cars!

I normally go on RP fourms so I use the links that resources post. Normally those sites have tons of memebers (like the RPG Underground, Caution 2.0, and the Red Carpet Rebellion) and also advertising tons of fourms that let you post as a guest.

Should I advertise first, or work on adding some new features, and interesting topics to my forum?
