Do you feel good with what video game's companies are selling their games today? Do you think that they are being sold too expensive or just about right or even cheaper than expected given the inflation as well as high cost of things today?

First-party games are a lot but indies are cheap and it's insanely cheap until you go digital because you need to pay for an internet connection to download it. So in reality if you are into a certain genre it's not that bad, With only 1st party titles you are paying way too much, and DLC for fighting or first-party games can mean you just lost an arm and a leg. So moral of the story, limit your 1st party consumption.

I have always felt that the AAA Games are expensive and with all the DLC's, it always feels like being shot in the leg if you don't buy them too.

I skipped the Pokemon Shield DLC, which gatekeeps all the Legends, (most I don't need if I transfer with Bank to HOME) however I cannot get Calyrex and the horses, which is a bummer because of power creep.

If you don't really know what you want to play, with the grind they have set up in most of their games, you would end up spending more than you're supposed to.

Games prices are higher now than when I was a kid but I think that's to be expected. The minimum wage is higher now than it was whenever I got my first job. The higher the wages are, the higher everything else is going to get. Every time they up the minimum wage, these companies are going to charge more for their product because they are expected to pay their employee's more money. It's an endless cycle, I think.

Seriously, it's indeed a vicious endless cycle that keeps getting worst by the day.

I feel new retail game prices for triple A games are expensive, and making it harder for poorer people to afford retail games after spending hundreds of dollars on a game console, extra controllers, and other gaming related products.

Older games and indie games can be affordable because you can sometimes buy older and indie games for $30 or less if there is a sale.

At some point, it's beginning to feel that they are trying to make playing video games a hobby for only rich people.

I think more non-rich people may need to wait for sales on games during the holidays when games sometimes cost less money, or buy used games in the future unless games cost less money in the future, or people earn more money.

It's why I don't blame anyone who decides to wait for game's prices to drop before they buy them. No harm comes in waiting.

Inflation is affecting a lot of things. The prices of food stuffs in the market are also on an increase.

And it keeps getting worst by the day which makes me question what our government is actually doing?

Sadly, many people keep voting for political parties which may cause inflation, and may less likely vote for a party which tries harder to reduce inflation.
