How do you like to place your console? (on its back or on its side)

I place my console horizontally since it is easier to put in disks, and plugin stuff. Plus, the console is not as easy to tip over if I am rearranging my consoles, or pluging in the video cable.

I had to learn the hard way to put it horizontaly. My PS2 suffered enough tip overs already

I place all my systems flat on the floor, but when my friend brings his 360, I put it on it's side; much easier to use that way with the 360.

Generally, I prefer place to them horizontally, but if space is an issue, and the console is built or it, then I will sit it vertically..

We sit them horizontally because we have a lot of cats and we don't want to risk it being knocked over.
