I usually pic domain names that are 1-2 words at most, and it has to be short and related to a website I am building. It also have to sound good and catchy.

I think having a huge domain like Amazinglygreatnessthekingofgolf.com is too long, and hard to remember. I really dislike domains which are sentances like thebighouseofjewels.com .
