I usually use the Export function for phpmyadmin to back up phpBB forum's database.
How do you usually backup your databases for your forum?

I have it on a schedule
don't need to, my current hosting takes several back ups of all my hosted files a # times a day. if I need to restore anything, I just go to a control panel in my Cpanel and select what files I want restored.
